Condoms - How To Put On

A condom is placed on a man's penis when he has an erection. If he is uncircumcised, someone must pull the foreskin back (gently) before putting it on.

Be careful not to snag the condom with teeth, fingernails, jewelry, etc. -- you could easily damage the condom.

Steps:

First you apply lubricant to the inside tip of condom, which helps avoid breakage and enhances the pleasure for the male.

You place the condom on the tip of the penis so it will unroll correctly.

You lightly squeeze the tip of the condom (to remove air) as you apply the condom to the head of the penis.

You unroll the condom all the way down to the base of the penis. If you put it on the wrong way, so it won't unroll, take it off and use another condom. Don't try to re-use it.

Then, if you would like, you can apply lubricant to the outside of the condom (especially if a nonlubricated condom is selected), which will enhance the female's pleasure.

Then, make sure the condom is free of rips, tears, holes and air bubbles when you are finished. You can run your hand gently down the penis to do this.

You should also check that the condom makes contact with head of penis just below the reservoir tip. (Is there more than 1.5 cm between the two or has the purpose of the reservoir been thwarted by application?)

After the male ejaculates (or comes) during intercourse, the safest time to remove the condom is when the penis is still erect.

To remove the condom, grasp the condom at the base of the penis and gently pull it off.
The used condom should be wrapped in a tissue and thrown away. It should not be flushed down the toilet -- serious septic problems can occur.
