Last week i had unprotected sex stupidly, the next day i took the morning after pill. This week i had really bad bleeding, and the worst pains in my stomach ever. I've never experienced this so i'm unsure whats happening, because i just finished my period last week.
If you are thinking these are signs of a pregnancy, they probably aren't. It is extremely rare that signs show up before 2-3 months into the pregnancy. (Not to mention that these "signs" aren't to reliable to go by on)
But, to give yourself some peace of mind, buy a pregnancy test ASAP (Depending on when last week you are talking about, taking the test now would be ideal, as they are really only accurate between 10 and 14 days after your missed period or unprotected sex)
Although, if you just finished your period, chances are you aren't pregnant. But a test wouldn't be a bad idea. _________________ I'd stop eating chocolate but I'm no quitter
Having just finished your period is no reliable indication of low fertility in your cycle. However, I think princess was asking whether the bleeding and pain are normal effects of the Emergency Contraception (which I don't know myself, but I think they are). However, since you took the EC, you are highly unlikely to be pregnant so rest assured and just bear in mind that you may need to go back to the doctor's if the pain continues much longer.
Some bleeding is common, and a little cramping is also not unusual with EC. However, very severe bleeding and cramping is not so common, and if either of these symptoms has persisted still, I'd suggest seeing your doctor or GYN.
